Accredited Supportive Living Services Limited (ASLS) is seeking full time and casual Community Support Workers for the following areas:
                Grande Prairie
                Grimshaw
                High Level
                LaCrete
                Peace River
 
Workers are responsible for assisting clients to achieve personal goals and increase skill development by implementing client’s Behavioural Support Plans. This includes collecting data, carrying out schedules of reinforcement, and base-lining behaviours of concerns. Assistance is also required in helping clients carry out daily activities and personal care routines.
 
Education and/or Experience:
  • Grade 12 Education or Post Secondary Schooling in Human Services
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Open to self improvement
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
Successful applicants will be required to have/obtain:
  • Certificate in Foundations Training
  • Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Clear Criminal Records Check
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
